From classics to new varieties, we hope this list inspires you, when you come back in the spring to place your orders, let's dive in:
Begonia Illumination 'Apricot Shades'

This should be the ultimate staple for your baskets and containers this summer. 'Apricot Shades' is a prolific flowering variety, often blooming from June until October and beyond (until the frost gets in the way!). They are inexpensive and each young plant has the potential to reach a height of 20cm with a tumble of luscious trailing colour up to 40cm.
Fuchsia Marbeller 'Double Salmon Orange'

Make sure to check first, as there are trailing, semi-trailing and upright varieties, one that 'sticks' out for us, is the Fuchsia 'Marbeller Double Salmon Orange.' Unusual, coral, cream and pink marbled blooms cascade and trail up to 50cm long. What's more you can enjoy the flowers right up until the first frost! Treated more as an annual unless protected from frosts.
Petunia Double Tumbelina 'Darcy Rosa'

A relatively new addition to the Petunia family, this double, fragrant delight is perfect for your hanging baskets and containers. Vibrant pink flowers with a bright lime edge appear from June to October, reaching only 30cm tall and a decadent drop of 40cm, meaning it won't overwhelm your baskets, alternatively they work as a standalone feature without any other plants!
Verbena 'Endurascape Red'

Nothing shouts 'summer' and 'trailing plants' more so than Verbena. Let's welcome the newest member to the family, Verbena 'Endurascape Red.' Not only does it trail or spread up to 60cm, it's also drought tolerant, attractive to bees and butterflies and deer resistant! If grown in milder parts of the UK, will also withstand temperatures down to -5°C, what a versatile winner for the garden!
Calibrachoa Chameleon 'Blueberry Scone'

Often referred to as 'million bells' or 'mini petunias' these wonderful bell-shaped cups of colour, are a welcome addition to baskets. The flowers roughly measure up to 4cm across, much smaller than their Petunia 'cousins', they do, to a certain extent, flower more prolifically. The 'Chameleon' series are particularly stunning and unusual, with vibrant, almost psychedelic bi-coloured blooms - a fantastic feature for your baskets.
Lobelia erinus 'Laura Blue Eye'

Let's not forget about the Lobelia! With bush and trailing varieties available, either make the perfect companion to your baskets and pots. One of the most eye-catching varieties we simply love is 'Laura Blue Eye', who can resist the vivid blue and bright white blooms?!
Calibrachoa Can-Can 'Double Dark Yellow'

We've explored the Chameleon Calibrachoa series, but what about double flowering? Welcoming 'Can-Can', in particular the bright summery golden yellow tones of 'Double Dark Yellow'. These colourful rosettes appear from June to October, tumbling down around 50cm and getting a bit of height up to 30cm in your baskets too! Even more neat, they are 'self-cleaning' meaning they shed spent flowers all on their own, no need to pick away and get sticky fingers like you would from Petunias!
Dichondra 'Silver Falls'

It's not all about the flowers! Let's talk foliage too. Dichondra Silver Falls, as the name suggests, is a fantastic trailing evergreen, with silvery blue, almost heart-shaped foliage. Whilst it is evergreen, you must protect it from frost and temperatures under 5°C if you wish to enjoy the same plant the following year. Mature plants will reach heights of around10-20cm and an unbelievable trailing habit up to 1.5m!
Pelargonium Grandeur Ivy 'Velvet'

Enjoy a remarkable display of dark velvet red blooms, with one of the longest flowering geraniums. Almost double blooms appear from June to September, with a height of 30cm and spread of 40cm, they're relatively compact too, making it the perfect choice for containers and baskets.
Bacopa

Also known as 'Sutera' this basket plant is a firm favourite! With blooms appearing up to 6 months of the year from late spring to early autumn. When planted en masse, in a mix of colours, make for a really appearing display!
