Unusual, exciting ground covering blooms which offer a carpet of dainty purple flowers from March to May each year. Growing to a height of around 10cm with a spread of 30cm, Viola labradorica ambig. also thrives in pots, rockeries and borders and has a delicate, sweet scent - just perfect for a patio table or window box. A fully hardy, evergreen perennial which does not require any winter protection.
