Pulmonaria 'Raspberry Splash' is a striking Pulmonaria; the semi-evergreen foliage is sure to bring a sparkle to your garden’s shady areas. In spring, pretty clusters of buds are produced in tight whorls, uncurling as they open to reveal striking raspberry and mauve blooms which contrast beautifully with the wonderful rosettes of attractive weed-suppressing, groundcover foliage. Pulmonaria have a long medicinal history and were once used by herbalists to treat respiratory ailments. Much loved by emerging solitary bees in spring, Pulmonaria ‘Raspberry Splash’ is excellent as a cut flower for your home to fill posy vases. Deer and rabbit resistant Pulmonaria prefer to be grown in moist soil in full or dappled shade and are perfect for growing between and underneath shrubs. Reaching a height and spread of 30-45cm, Pulmonaria are hardy perennials with an RHS rating of H6, which can be happily left outside all year round without any extra protection.
