Tell Me More...
Pelargonium peltatum 'Cascade Snow' is a self-cleaning beauty also known commonly as ivy leaf geranium and when you see the attractive hedera-like foliage you will understand why. Gently trailing down to around 60cm from baskets, window boxes and containers, perky, long-lasting, and hard-wearing blooms are produced from June to October. Extremely floriferous, each bloom consists of 5 long, crisp white petals, with contrasting dark maroon markings on 2 of the petals. Compact and trailing, the fleshy, dark green, foliage is very distinctive, the succulence helping towards their drought tolerance. Pelargonium peltatum 'Cascade Snow' will reach a height and spread of 30cm, trailing down to around 60cm. A tender annual, with an RHS hardiness rating H1C, so will need to be kept above 1-5°C. Cuttings can easily be taken to give you more plants the following year. Prefers full sun, in moist, well-drained soil, but will happily tolerate light shade.
