Impatiens 'Glimmer Double Burgundy' offers a rich, intensity of colour that is second to none in the species. Lending an opulent, velvety appearance alongside the decadence of the double blooms. The perfect plant for a shady corner of your garden which can sometimes be tricky to fill with colourful blooms. As a tender perennial, Impatiens 'Glimmer Double Burgundy' needs overwintering indoors once outside temperatures drop below 5 C. Alternatively, it can be grown as an annual if indoor space is tight and you do not have access to a heated greenhouse. Impatiens 'Glimmer Double Burgundy' will produce blooms in abundance from May to September and is ideal for containers, baskets and window boxes - adding vibrancy as a stand-alone plant or when incorporated into mixed bedding displays. Plants prefer moist, well-drained soil in a broad range of conditions from full sun to shade. H: 40cm S: 30cm
